THOUGHTFUL WORK ACROSS INTERIOR DESIGN AND WRITING
I create reflective writing and functional, well-considered spaces rooted in care and clarity.
Hi,
I’m Adia.
ABOUT
I’m a writer and interior designer working across words and spaces, guided by care, clarity, and lived experience. My work is rooted in close attention—how people move through their homes, their relationships, and their inner lives. Whether I’m shaping a room or a sentence, I’m interested in what makes something feel inhabitable rather than impressive.
My writing lives primarily in Marginalia, where I publish reflective essays and notes on intimacy, connection, slowness, and the quiet truths we often move past too quickly. The work is personal but not performative, thoughtful without urgency—an ongoing practice of making sense of experience and offering language for what’s felt but not always named.
Alongside my writing, I offer interior design and creative support services that prioritize function, follow-through, and emotional intelligence. With a background in design, project management, and virtual assistance, I bring both structure and softness to the work—helping people create spaces and systems that support real life. Across everything I do, I’m drawn to work that is honest, well-considered, and made with care.

MY WRITING
Marginalia
Marginalia is a space for personal essays and prose on intimacy and connection, written through half-confessions and quiet honesty. The work moves slowly, making room for reflection, tenderness, and the parts of experience that resist easy conclusions.
